Emergency and Security Contingency Training and Exercising

Emergency and Security Contingency Training and Exercising

Having emergency response processes and procedures is one thing, actually having the faith and confidence that your staff can safely execute them during a stress induced situation is something completely different.  By conducting regular emergency response training and exercising allows staff at all levels to deal with an unexpected incident as efficiently as possible ultimately reducing the consequence of threat to life and on business operations.

We provide a bespoke service that can cover the whole evolution - from planning and preparation of a realistic and relevant scenario, execution of the exercise with the use of actors, followed by a comprehensive debrief highlighting lessons identified.

There are three types of exercise that we can deliver:

  1. Tabletop. These exercises are run from a room and are mostly delivered hypothetically with a managed accelerated timeline. They are particularly useful for exercising senior management by testing processes and procedures.
  2. Walkthrough talk through. These exercises often involve discussions followed by a walkthrough talk through of an action or response. These are particularly useful for initial training sessions prior to a facility exercise.
  3. Facility. These exercises are conducted in real time, on site, often with the use of actors to add the air of realism. These are the best type of exercises to test and practice actions on and deliver the best results.

There are multiple scenarios that can be exercised including: Fire, Casualty, Security (Intruder, Insider, Cyber Attack etc…), and many more bespoke to your organisation.

  3. An explanation of local laws and customs.
